Course Description

At the joint campus meeting we will review the current problems and solutions to improve endometrial receptivity and increase the chance of a successful implantation. This meeting focuses on the latest research within the field focusing on a clinical, personalized approach, using molecular diagnostic tools, endometrial preparation, pre-IVF hysteroscopy, immune modulation, and potentially new treatment aspects such as stem cell therapy and the microbiome profile. The lectures will also address the possible links between Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF) and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL).

Course Objectives

•   To provide current knowledge about improving endometrial receptivity to achieve a successful implantation
•   To understand current diagnostic tools to improve endometrial receptivity
•   To provide an up-date on potential clinical relevant therapies
•   To elucidate the areas that need further research

Target Audience

Reproductive physicians, gynecologists, both clinical and basic researchers working in the field of human reproduction.

Educational needs and expected outcomes

By critically reviewing the existing literature as well as emerging concepts, the course will provide up-to-date knowledge for ART physicians, clinical and basic scientists within reproduction.

Innovative Aspects

To get the embryo implanted and stay implanted is still one of the greatest challenges in ART treatment. To optimizing the endometrial receptivity holds great potential to seriously improve the over-all efficacy of treatment of both infertility patients and patients suffering from RPL.
